This piece is #1 of 25 Hors de Commerce limited edition xerographic-line, ink-enhanced, hand-painted character cel set-ups from the making of Pocahontas.  In this scene, “A Good Soul”, Pocahontas introduces John Smith to Grandmother Willow.  The approximate size of the cel is 11X19 3/8 in..  The original animation drawings were transferred to acetate by a six-step process.  The background scene was recreated using the original background as reference.
