This piece is #1 of a Limited Edition of 375 hand-painted, ink enhanced character cel set-ups.  In this scene, “Bath time for Dumbo”, after a trying day, outcast elephant, Dumbo, finds warmth and solace in a cozy bath drawn by his loving mother. Image size: Dumbo 7X7in. The approximate size of the cel is 10X10 in..  The cel was recreated from the animator’s original line drawings for the film and was then hand-inked and hand- painted by the artists of the Walt Disney Studios Paint and Ink Department.  This limited edition was produced in 1999. Original layouts and sketches used in the production of Dumbo were used for reference by Disney artists who created the background.
