This piece is Hors de Commerce #1 of 25 (regular ed. 500) xerographic-line, ink enhanced, hand-painted character cel set-ups.  In “Daydreaming”, while her stepmother and stepsisters engage in much needed music lesson upstairs, Cinderella scrubs the floor and begins to sing. The approximate size of the cel is 10 ¾ X15in.  The cel was recreated from the animator’s original line drawings for the film by the artists of the Walt Disney Studios Paint and Ink Department.  The cel is applied to a recreated background using the original layout, sketches and frames from the film as reference.
