This piece is a Limited Edition, Hors de Commerce, number 1 of 25 hand painted character cels.  This recreated cel set-up “Deception”: Prince Ali (Aladdin) has just made his grand entrance into the Sultan’s palace.  Recreated by Disney artists using traditional animation techniques of transferring original animation drawings to acetate cels by a six-step process. Then they hand-paint each cel and apply it to a reproduction of the original background used in the film.  The approximate size to the cel is 9 ¾ X 16 in.
