This piece is a Limited edition, Hors de Commerce, number 1 of 25 hand painted character cels.  This recreated cel set-up “Magic Carpet Ride”:  Prince Ali and Jasmine glide through the air on the magic carpet.  Recreated by Disney artists using traditional original animation techniques of transferring original animation drawings to acetate cels by a six-step process.  Then they hand paint the cel and apply it to a reproduction of the original background used in the film.  The approximate size of the cel is 10 ¼ X 23 ¼  In.
