This piece is #1 of a limited edition of 50 Publisher’s Proofs, xerographic-line, ink enhanced cel set-ups from Peter Pan. In this scene, “Peter with Mermaids” Peter enthalls the beautiful mermaids with tales of his daring adventures.  The approximate size of the cel is 11 ¼ X 15 ¼.  The cel was created from the animator’s original line drawings for the film by the artists of the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department.  The background has been recreated by using the original layout, sketches and frames from the film as reference.
