This piece is #13 of 25 Hors de Commerce limited edition hand-created character cels.  The image is from the animated short Plane Crazy from 1928.  The cel was recreated from the animator’s original line drawings for the film by the artists of the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department.  The cel is applied to a background using the original layout, sketches and frames from the film’s archival material.  The approximate size of the cel is 9 ½ X 12 ¼.
