This is a special limited edition of hand-painted, ink-enhanced character cel set-ups depicting the numerous characters created by one of Disney’s premiere animators, Ward Kimball. In the center is a vintage photo of Kimball. The piece is signed by Ward Kimball. Walt Disney Studios has created these images using traditional animation techniques with the images of Jiminy Cricket, Donald Duck and the Cheshire Cat were transferred to an acetate cel by a special six step xerographic process. Disney artists then enhanced the cels with hand inking and hand painting with 33 Disney approved acrylic colors and one airbrush effect. The background scene features reproductions of character animation drawings by Ward Kimball. The work was lithographically printed on premium quality acid free paper. The approximate size is 21 X 15 ¾.
This piece is #1 of 25 Hors de Commerce limited edition hand painted character cels. It is from the 1970 feature film The Aristocats. The cel depicts Duchess, Thomas O’Malley and the kittens on a rooftop in Paris. The cel set-up was recreated from the original film using the animator’s original line drawings and was hand inked and hand painted onto acetate by the artists of the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department. The background has been recreated using original background paintings, sketches and frames from the film.

This specially created cel set-up features 31 beloved stars of classic Disney shorts and animated features from Mickey to Mulan. It also depicts photographs of the four key Disney Studios along with Walt Disney and his brother Roy. The background is hand painted with a photomontage reproduced as a giclee. The piece is presented with a certificate of authenticity signed by Roy E. Disney, Walt’s nephew. The edition size is 75 general edition, 15 publisher’s proofs and 5 hors de commerce. This is a giclee by artist Mark Seppala celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of the Walt Disney Company. Set in the clouds the piece shows many of the main Disney characters and the theme parks progressing from the early days of Disneyland to present day Walt Disney World with its various lands. The general edition size is 350 with 15 artist’s proofs. This piece was limited for purchase at the 1999 Disneyana Convention. The approximate size is 171/4 by 30.
This is a limited edition giclee print featuring high resolution digital scans of 13 individual concept paintings by longtime Disney Imagineer, Marc Davis. The original paintings were created by Davis between 1963 and 1977 as concepts for projects within the various “lands” and attractions at Walt Disney World Resorts Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.A special remarque of the artworks title has been added as a tribute to Mr. Davis. The piece is signed by Davis’s wife, Alice Davis to commemorate her involvement in some of the costume designs depicted in this print. This piece was only available for purchase at the Disneyana Convention in 2000. The approximate size of the piece is 17 X 20 ¾.
