This piece is #39 of a Limited Edition of 500 hand-painted, ink enhanced character cel set-ups.  In this scene, “Baby Mine”, Mrs. Jumbo and her baby, Dumbo, share a tender moment inside the circus tent.  The approximate size of the cel is 9 ¼ X 12 ¼ in..  The cel was recreated from the animator’s original line drawings for the film and was then hand-inked and hand- painted by the artists of the Walt Disney Studios Paint and Ink Department.  This limited edition was produced in 1994. Original layouts and sketches used in the production of Dumbo were used for reference by Disney artists who created the background.
