The Disney Master Series is #27 of a limited edition of 350 hand-painted, signed character set-ups from Walt Disney’s animated classic Pinocchio.  The cel set-up recreates Pinocchio in sequence 1.6, scene 17 of the film, and the lithograph background reproduces clean-up animation drawings that show the various moods and personalities of Pinocchio. Some of the drawings were reversed to complement the center image. Image size 9 1/2 in. The approximate size of the cel is 16 3/4 X 12 1/4 in..  Each cel was hand-inked over an original animation drawing and then hand-painted by the artists of the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint department.  Approved and signed by Ollie Johnston.

This piece is #25 of an edition of 25 Hors de Commerce limited edition cels.  In this scene, Jiminy Cricket, freshly appointed Pinocchio’s official moral guardian, alerts his young charge to ‘always let your conscience be your guide’. The cel set-up was recreated using traditional animation techniques, from the animator’s original line drawings for the film and was then hand-inked and hand-painted onto acetate by the artists of the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department.  The background was reproduced using original sketches and frames from the film as reference.  The approximate size of cel is 14 1/4 X 16 1/2 in..

This piece is #246 of a Limited Edition of 275 hand-painted cels.  In this scene, Jiminy Cricket looks on as the Blue Fairy brings Pinocchio to life. The cel set-up was created from the animator’s original line drawings for the film, and was hand-inked and hand-painted onto acetate by the artists of the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department.The background was reproduced using original sketches and frames from the film as reference.
